Great work in creating this game! I loved it!

Thank you! Glad you liked it!

I liked the premise, would have loved to play it, unfortunately my input setup doesnt allow me to crouch, so the tutorial area is whre my playthrough ends. Nonrebindable controls should never use the ctrl or alt keys.

That’s interesting. What if you’re input method? Can you map the correct keyboard key with it?

I just checked the game out. I liked the mall exploration aspect a lot.

For the tutorial in the beginning when you are showing the keys that need to be used, you show an up arrow on the keyboard button. That isn't very accurate, as for my keyboard, the up arrow is on the d-pad. the Shift key has no arrow on it, and only says Shift. so maybe fix that so it says hold "shift" to run, instead of just the arrow for shift?

I also noticed some screen tearing when I was playing, will you add v-sync to the game later on to help that?

Thanks for the feedback!

As this was a student-produced game, it would be up to them to make any updates, so these issues may never be resolved.

We’re glad you enjoyed it, though!

is there gonna be more to the story eventually?

The story is written. It’s just a matter of gamedev at this point! Which, again, would be up to the students.

Neat game

Is there a way to disable the film grain effect?

Not in this version. Sorry.

Thanks for the hilarious playthrough!

Awesome experience! Figuring out what the shop names were based on was our favorite part as well as just walking around the mall. Giving Wilson a real backstory was a great move as it made the hauntings more personal. The atmosphere and vibe was perfect. Lil Beef has only positive things to say about this game and he's a hard customer to please. Looking forward to "Bench" getting its own game. Maybe call it "The Benchinator".

That speedrun was intense! Thanks for posting!

Great graphics pretty immersive, i like that is has narrative  story as well with VOICE ACTING. You don't see that many indie games with voice acting.  I also really appreciate  the Trick R Treat Easter egg of Sam. On the downside it does seem buggy  I wasn't able to finish the game ( I think that wasn't the end) due to a glitch that made me fall through the map  and had me stuck looking at my own characters face. This happened  multiple times but only recorded the first time. Great game/concept otherwise. Devs if you want to see the glitch it's towards the end of the video.

So sorry about the issues. Glad you enjoyed what you did. Thank you for posting!

Was a good looking game, aside from the cutscenes which i didn't like so much,  Then upon reaching the office part where the suited man is, it glitched and i was just stuck looking at his face. again well developed design but seems clunky at parts

Thanks. Sorry about the issues. We haven't seen the issues you experienced, but there are definitely some improvements that could be made.

That was awesome! The voice acting was very professional sounding, the sound design and music was very appropriate for the creepy backrooms-esque setting, the controls felt good, the visual assets were really cool looking, and I liked the weeping angels AI for the dudes who chase you, that was interesting to deal with. As most people will probably say, I just wish it was longer! Also there's cows in this game, so Pandemoonium reference

Ha! Thank you!
